This is the Japan tour pressing of Omen X, the tenth album by Turmion Kätilöt, the Finnish disco metal band. MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo formed them in 2003, Hoitovirhe followed in 2004, and they signed to Nuclear Blast in 2020. What they do is put a 1990s disco beat and metal weight on the same pulse, and the lyrics stay in Finnish throughout. The international edition came out on 13 January 2023; Ward Records issued this Japanese one on 26 January 2024 after the band were booked to come to Japan that May with their compatriots Beast in Black, adding three live recordings as Japan-only bonus tracks. Fourteen tracks, about fifty-two minutes.
