Trick or Treat's Ghosted came out on Scarlet Records on 25 April 2025, with Ward Records' Japanese CD (GQCS-91609) following on 2 May. The Italian band began in 2003 as a Helloween tribute act — their first release was a live album under that banner — and stepped out with material of their own on Evil Needs Candy Too in 2006. Their singer is Alessandro Conti, known for his work with Luca Turilli of Rhapsody of Fire and as the front man of Twilight Force, and the cover painting is his too. Eleven songs, three years on from the previous album, written around horror films, comics and video games. Two guests appear: Adrienne Cowan of Seven Spires on "Bloodmoon" and Alestorm's Christopher Bowes on "Return To Monkey Island". Behind Conti stand guitarists Guido Benedetti and Luca Ventrelli, bassist Leone Villani Conti and drummer Dario Capacci. Four songs have official videos and "Bloodmoon" has a lyric video.
