LINER NOTES
A new studio album from Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, issued worldwide by BMG on 23 October 2026; Universal Music Japan's edition follows on 6 November as an SHM-CD in a cardboard sleeve (UICB-15025) with liner notes, lyrics and translations. It was announced on 29 July 2026 alongside the premiere of the first single "World Alone" at a streaming event held in Iommi's home city of Birmingham, England. The record runs to eight songs, with Jorn Lande on vocals — Lande shares writing credits on every track — Becky Baldwin on bass and Karl Brazil on drums. Iommi co-produced with Mike Exeter. It is Iommi's first solo release since "Fused" (2005) and his first full-length since Black Sabbath's "13", arriving about a year after Black Sabbath's final show, "Back To The Beginning", in Birmingham in 2025. Abroad there is also an Amazon-exclusive CD in a die-cut sleeve and a 32-page deluxe CD media book adding two bonus tracks, "Scent Of Dark" and "Deified (extended version)"; the Japanese edition's Amazon.co.jp exclusive comes with a mega-jacket. A limited 7-inch single of "World Alone", backed with an instrumental version, came out on 4 September.
