From the Dark

A new studio album from Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, issued worldwide by BMG on 23 October 2026. It was announced on 29 July 2026 alongside the premiere of the first single "World Alone" at a streaming event held in Iommi's home city of Birmingham, England. The record runs to eight songs, with Jorn Lande on vocals — Lande wrote the lyrics and shares writing credits on every track — Becky Baldwin on bass and Karl Brazil on drums. Iommi co-produced with Mike Exeter, and the album was mixed by Exeter and Andy Sneap. It is Iommi's first solo release since "Fused" (2005) and his first full-length since Black Sabbath's "13", arriving a year after Black Sabbath's final show, "Back To The Beginning", in Birmingham in 2025. This item is the Amazon-exclusive CD digisleeve with a die-cut cover and a 12-page booklet; the bonus tracks "Scent Of Dark" and "Deified (extended)" appear only on the deluxe CD media book edition with its 32-page booklet. A limited 7-inch single of "World Alone", backed with an instrumental version, is scheduled for 4 September.
