A Story to Tell is the debut album by Timeless Fairytale, a neoclassical symphonic metal band whose members come from Denmark, Italy and Sweden. At its centre are Henrik Brockmann, the first singer of the Danish band Royal Hunt — who also fronted Evil Masquerade — and the Italian guitarist and songwriter Luca Sellitto of Stamina and Magic Opera; Carmine Vivo, Sellitto's bandmate in Stamina, plays bass and Victor Enebjörn drums. Sellitto wrote every song and plays guitar and keyboards, and the melodies look back to the Nordic metal of Royal Hunt and Yngwie Malmsteen that found a large audience in Japan in the 1990s. Marquee released the Japanese edition first, MICP-11905, on 21 August 2024 with the bonus track "What If", and ViciSolum Productions issued the international edition on 13 September 2024 — twelve tracks, about 51 minutes.
