LINER NOTES
The Everlasting Shadows, The Duskfall's sixth album, was announced in 2018 for release the following year and reached listeners only in March 2026, digitally. In between, frontman Mikael Sandorf went through the deaths of relatives and his wife's cancer, and, as the label copy tells it, there was a time when finishing the record at all was in doubt. Sebastian Lindgren mixed and mastered it. The Swedish melodic death metal band dates from 1999, when it formed after the break-up of Gates of Ishtar.
A lyric video for "Golem", made from a rough mix, was posted in 2020. The CD and LP editions are on the Greek label The Circle Music, and Disk Union's import of the CD with a Japanese obi (TCM082OBI) has a release date of 4 December 2026 and the same nine songs as the digital release.
