Lookin' for Trouble is a set of blues covers by The Dead Daisies, the band the Australian guitarist David Lowy started in 2013. Ward Records explain where it came from: the previous album, Light 'Em Up, was cut at Sienna Studios in Nashville and at FAME Studios in Alabama, and the rooms put the band in the mood to jam the blues after each night's work. Everything was recorded, and the takes chosen from those tapes make up this album — ten songs first made by Muddy Waters, Freddie King, John Lee Hooker, Lead Belly, B.B. King, Albert King, Robert Johnson, Rufus Thomas and Howlin' Wolf. John Corabi sings, with Doug Aldrich and Lowy on guitars, Michael Devin on bass and Sarah Tomek on drums. Ward Records issued the Japanese CD (GQCS-91612), with a Japanese essay, on 30 May 2025. "Crossroads", "Boom Boom" and "Black Betty" have official videos, and the band have posted a documentary about the record.
