Permission to Land... Again (20th Anniversary Edition) marks twenty years of The Darkness's 2003 debut, Permission to Land — the record that went to number one in Britain and sold more than 1.4 million copies there, carried by Justin Hawkins's falsetto and a run of very large tunes. The two-disc edition is the album plus B-sides, non-album tracks and previously unreleased demos; a 4CD + DVD box set goes further, adding live recordings and film from London's Astoria and Knebworth in 2003 and Wembley Arena in 2004, and a five-LP set appeared alongside them. Atlantic released all of it on 6 October 2023. The two-disc version runs thirty-three tracks and closes with the Christmas single "Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End)". There is no Japanese edition.
