The Ugly Side of Me is the third Tetrarch album and the first of theirs to get a Japanese edition: Marquee Incorporated put out MICP-11948 on 7 May 2025, two days ahead of the Napalm Records release, with a Japanese essay and translated lyrics. The American band arrived with Freak in 2017 and became a name in loud rock with Unstable on Napalm in 2021, touring the large festivals behind it. Marquee describe the advance track "Live Not Fantasize" as a song that pulls in the industrial textures of the 1990s, electronics set against heavy guitar and drums, with Diamond Rowe's fast riffing and soloing framing Josh Fore's vocals. Ten tracks. Official videos exist for "Live Not Fantasize" and "Never Again (Parasite)", and there are visualizers for "Cold", the title track, "Erase" and "Crawl".
