Project 11 : The Landing is the second album by Symakya, a French four-piece playing melodic symphonic progressive metal. Matthieu Morand, Kevin Kazek and Thomas Das Neves started the band in October 2008 and Julien Kuhn joined on bass to complete the present line-up; all of them had long careers in other bands first, and their 2011 debut Majestic 12: Open Files was mixed by Simon Oberender at Gate Studio, who has worked with Epica and Kamelot. The record follows a descent to the moon, as its title suggests, and it turns on two things at once: expressive singing and instrumental craft. FANTAIZIC released it on 5 April 2024 and Wormholedeath Japan issued the Japanese-packaged import on 28 June as BITX1319. Ten songs, about an hour and five minutes.
