LINER NOTES
Inferno is the first full-length album by Speedkiller, a Brazilian trio, and their first release in Japan; it follows the 2021 EP Midnight Vampire. The music is blackened thrash — black metal crossed with thrash — carried by carefully built guitar solos over very fast tempos. The band is Allefer Rocha, Hellkrätus and Yan Nielsen; they recorded it themselves between 2022 and 2023, with Aly Fioren mixing and mastering, and Mateus Cantaleano guesting on the solo in the advance track "Invoke the Lord". Portugal's Helldprod Records released it on 8 March 2024 and Spiritual Beast issued the Japanese CD on 24 July as IUCP-16372, adding the band's own signature song "Speedkiller" as a Japan-only bonus track for ten in all.
