Soulfly's Chama came out through Nuclear Blast Records on 24 October 2025, the thirteenth studio album from the band Max Cavalera formed after leaving Sepultura, and Ward Records issued it in Japan that day (GQCS-91685) with a Japanese booklet and translated lyrics, ten tracks in about 33 minutes.

Soulfly's Chama came out through Nuclear Blast Records on 24 October 2025, the thirteenth studio album from the band Max Cavalera formed after leaving Sepultura, and Ward Records issued it in Japan that day (GQCS-91685) with a Japanese booklet and translated lyrics, ten tracks in about 33 minutes. Igor Amadeus Cavalera plays bass on some tracks, Mike DeLeon appears on his first Soulfly studio album, and guests include Dino Cazares of Fear Factory, Michael Amott of Arch Enemy and Todd Jones of Nails, who sings on "Nihilist", whose lyrics Max says were inspired by the late L.G. Petrov. John Aquilino recorded it in Mesa, Arizona, and Max's son, drummer Zyon Cavalera, produced it with Arthur Rizk, who mixed and mastered it. Nuclear Blast Records and Soulfly jointly posted a lyric video for "Storm the Gates", Costin Chioreanu's "Nihilist" video, filmed in Bulgaria, and videos for "No Pain = No Power", directed by Zyon, and "Favela / Dystopia". Max explains that chama means flame in Brazil, and also a calling.
