A Quest for Life is the debut full-length by Sirius, the four-piece power metal band formed in Athens in 2007 by guitarist and singer Dimitris Napas, and it is straight-ahead power metal built on hard guitar riffing. Their debut EP Wings of Fire came out in December 2017; their first show, at the Remedy Live Club in Athens, sold out, and in 2019 they released an acoustic version of The Last Angel with a video, opened for Luke Appleton of Iced Earth and played the Under The Quarry festival before signing worldwide with WormHoleDeath. Two tracks carry guests: Tim Owens of KK's Priest sings and Derek Sherinian of Black Country Communion plays keyboards on Unbound the Scream and Land of Swords. The album appeared internationally on 26 July 2024; WormHoleDeath Japan issued the Japanese edition on 29 November as BITX-1346, a direct import with Japanese packaging. Eight tracks.
