Dark Horizons is the second album by Sinner's Blood, the Chilean melodic metal band who debuted on Italy's Frontiers Records in 2020. The pairing that made the first record works again here: Nasson, a multi-instrumentalist and producer long active in the Chilean scene, writes the songs, and James Robledo sings them. What the band take from Symphony X, Primal Fear, Evergrey and early Masterplan they put together in their own shape, and Robledo, who has named Jorn Lande and Ronnie James Dio as the singers he grew up on, sings with more force than before. Frontiers released it on 27 September 2024 and Ward Records issued the Japanese edition, GQCS-91508, the same day, adding a demo version of "The Voice Within" to the eleven tracks of the international edition for twelve in all, about 53 minutes.
