Recordings: 2020-2025 gathers five years of Simon McBride's solo work in one place. The guitarist from Northern Ireland, now Deep Purple's lead guitarist, spends most of it on covers that trace what he grew up on — Bryan Adams' "Kids Wanna Rock", Duran Duran's "Ordinary World", The Kinks' "I Gotta Move", The Cure's "Lovesong", Free's "The Stealer", Led Zeppelin's "Heartbreaker" — and he sings them as well as playing guitar, which makes the record read as a singer's album rather than a guitarist's showcase. earMUSIC released it on 4 April 2025; King Records issued the Japanese edition (KICP-4099) on 23 April as a Blu-spec CD with a commentary booklet. Fifteen tracks.
