LINER NOTES
Carnival World first came out in 1990 on Pure Metal Records; Eonian Records' reissue of 10 July 2026, which the label calls the definitive edition, has it remixed by Jeffrey Gardner and remastered by Rob Colwell, with new cover art. SERAIAH formed in Indiana in 1985, and it was a set at the Metal Fest in Decatur, Illinois in the summer of 1988, on a bill with Bride, Sacred Warrior and Vengeance, that led to the Pure Metal deal. The ten album tracks were recorded by Bradley Beckey (vocals), Quinton Gibson (guitar), Michael McClung (bass) and Kyle Dietz (drums); by Eonian's account, "Rise Up" climbed to number two on the CCM metal chart in its day and "Devastating Daydream" reached number eight. The reissue adds six live recordings that are the first recordings of Tracy Ferrie, later of Stryper and Boston, playing bass with the band, and a 36-page booklet with about a hundred unpublished photographs from the band's own archive and a history of the band by Arttie Parker. Eonian released videos for "Devastating Daydream", "No More Tears To Cry" and "Rise Up" around the release. In Japan the CD is a direct import with Japanese packaging from Bit Organization / Eonian Records (BITX1489), with a release date of 30 October 2026, the same as the early demo collection DEMOlish This; the Blood Moon Red vinyl holds the ten album songs only.
