Senki are a Hungarian trio and Szilánkok is their third EP — four songs that move between metalcore, groove metal and progressive writing, built on tense riffing, sharp dynamic drops and a vocal that never softens. The project began in 2018 as the work of Ákos Rikter alone. He started looking for a band in earnest in 2022; Olivér Takács came in on bass, and after a run of drummers — Tamás Kozsup, László Csíki and Dezső Huszka all appear in earlier videos — Adrián Miskoltzy joined at the end of 2025 and settled the line-up. Szilánkok is Hungarian for shards, and Rikter has described the title track as a confession about the split between chasing music and answering to a family. The EP already existed when WormHoleDeath picked it up and released it worldwide on 13 March 2026. WormHoleDeath Japan issue the Japanese edition on 30 October 2026 as a direct import with Japanese packaging, catalogue number BITX1496. The band are preparing to play live and are at work on a full-length album.
