A new album from Schattenmann, formed in Nuremberg, Germany in 2016, released on 13 March 2026 through Perception, a division of Reigning Phoenix Music, with twelve tracks. The line-up of Frank Herzig (vocals), Jan Shook (guitar), Luke Shook (bass) and Rorschach (drums) follows the momentum of 2023's Día de Muertos, which reached the German top ten. They describe their method as NDH 2.0 — the heavy, stomping rhythms characteristic of Neue Deutsche Härte crossed with the hardness of modern metal and a pop sense of melody — and that balance of NDH, modern rock and electronics runs through the whole record, from the title track "Endgegner" onward.
