Songs in Crimson is the seventh studio album by Satan, the band formed in Newcastle in north-east England in 1980 and one of the names that carried the new wave of British heavy metal, and their third for Metal Blade. The line-up is Brian Ross on vocals, Russ Tippins and Steve Ramsey on guitars, Graeme English on bass and Sean Taylor on drums. The band produced it with Dave Curle of First Avenue Studios in Newcastle, who also engineered, mixed and mastered it. Ten tracks. Metal Blade released it on 13 September 2024; there is no separate Japanese edition, and the album reaches Japan as an import. A video for "Turn the Tide" came first, and the audio for "Era (The Day Will Come)" went up on release day.
