Sammy Hagar & The Best of All Worlds Band's The Residency came out through Big Machine Rock on 10 October 2025, a live album taped from 30 April to 17 May 2025 during Hagar's shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, and Japanese shops carry it as a double-CD import. "Panama" appears on physical editions only and "When It's Love" only digitally, so the two discs hold 18 songs, eleven on the first. The opener, "Encore, Thank You, Goodnight.", is the 2025 single Hagar wrote with Joe Satriani as an overdue thank-you to Eddie Van Halen, and Hagar says "Summer Nights" was born on the first day of the 5150 sessions, when Eddie played him the riff. Satriani plays guitar, Michael Anthony bass, Rai Thistlethwayte keyboards and Kenny Aronoff drums; Blabbermouth notes that Aronoff, a Chickenfoot bandmate of Hagar, Anthony and Satriani, replaced Jason Bonham for the final dates of the tour's US leg. Hagar, Satriani and Chris Lord-Alge produced it, and Ted Jensen mastered it.
