RE:RAIGN

RE:RAIGN is the second solo album by the Japanese guitarist Sally: nine tracks, five of them instrumentals. Sally wrote all of the music and the words to three of the four sung pieces. The fourth lyric, MONSTER FINGER, is by Anchang of SEX MACHINEGUNS, who sings it as well; the other guests are RAIN on Last New WORLD, Anju Tachibana on Lady on Fire and 長谷川愛 on 逢いたい. The arrangements are divided three ways — Sally took five songs, Mao, formerly of LIGHT BRINGER, took three, and Freddy of Serenity In Murder took Lady on Fire — while 仁耶 (Jinya) of Unlucky Morpheus mixed and mastered all nine. Two of the songs had been heard before: Revenge and IMPLICATION were the pair on TWO-THREE, a two-track CD-R put out in the autumn of 2025 and released digitally in March 2026, and IMPLICATION was chosen as the opening theme for 麻雀最強戦2026, the mahjong programme the publisher Takeshobo presents, shown weekly from August to December. The video for the lead track, Last New WORLD, appeared on Sally's own YouTube channel on 4 September 2026. Marquee/Avalon releases the record on 11 November 2026 in two editions: a single CD, MICL-20017, at 3,500 yen including tax, and a limited CD+DVD set, MIZL-60003, at 5,500 yen, whose second disc carries that video and a making-of film. Sally formed the girl rock band LIPSTICK in 2012 and wrote most of its material, turned to solo work in 2023 once the band stopped playing live, joined LOC that November, and became a full member of LONESOME_BLUE in June 2026. Her debut album, BURN IT, came out in February 2025. A tour behind the record is planned, though no dates have been given.
