PLUVIA

The first solo major-label album by Saki, the Japanese guitarist who picked up an electric guitar out of respect for Seikima-II. She made her major debut as lead guitarist of Mary's Blood after Destrose in her university years and then mixx, and worked in parallel in Nemophila until leaving in 2024. In 2020 she started Amahiru with Frederic Leclercq, formerly of DragonForce, and in 2021 released "Brightness", her first piece under her own name. King Records released this record on 24 June 2026: ten tracks, all instrumental. Making it an instrumental album was the label's suggestion rather than hers, and in an interview with Natalie she frames it as one summit of a fifteen-year career as a major-label guitarist, held to her belief in writing instrumentals that stay with the listener. The guests are Gus G. of Firewind, formerly with Ozzy Osbourne, taking the solo on "Flores a Flores"; Frederic Leclercq on bass on "Germinans"; Senri Kawaguchi on drums on "Pluvia" and "Germinans"; Naoki Oka on piano on "Pluvia"; hibiki of Saber Tiger and NoGoD on bass and Kagemaru of Zigzag on drums on "Redemption". It comes as a standard edition (KICS-4255) and a first-press limited deluxe edition (KICS-94255) carrying the same CD. The video for the title track went up on 12 June 2026.
