The Fallen is a record by Ruthless, the cult heavy metal band from California. They formed in 1982, and their 1986 debut Discipline of Steel -- Judas Priest and Accept filtered through an occult atmosphere -- has been passed around by collectors ever since; but they broke up in 1988 partway through a second album and disappeared for decades. This is the comeback they made after signing to Germany's Fireflash Records: ten songs of pure heavy metal that sound as though they walked straight out of the 1980s. Ward Records released the Japanese edition on 12 January 2024. Ten tracks, about forty-two minutes.
