Trinity

Trinity is Ronnie Atkins's third solo album. The Pretty Maids singer told the public in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with stage four cancer; he decided, in his words, to keep his head, set goals and go on chasing what he wanted, and made his first solo record, One Shot, in 2021 with past and present Pretty Maids members alongside him. Make It Count and the Symphomaniac EP followed in 2022. He wrote everything here on guitar, which has made it a heavier record than the two before it, though the melodies he built his name on are all still there: "a good song, to me, means a good hook, a good melody — that is what opened the road for me." Chris Laney produced, Jacob Hansen mixed and mastered. Ward Records released the Japanese edition on 13 October 2023 as GQCS-91378, with one Japan-only bonus track for thirteen in all.
