Ward Records issue Riot's two July 2024 Japanese shows in full on 31 July 2026, on four CDs running three hours and twenty-one minutes. Discs one and two carry the seventeen songs of Riot Matsuri 2024, the festival at Club Citta' Kawasaki on 20 July; discs three and four the twenty-two songs of Riot after Riot, their own show at Shibuya Club Quattro two days later, on a different set list. The line-up on both nights: Todd Michael Hall (vocals), Don Van Stavern (bass), Mike Flyntz and Jonathan Reinheimer (guitars), Frank Gilchriest (drums). Masayoshi Yamashita of Loudness was special guest in Kawasaki; Valentino Francavilla, the Italian singer and guitarist who played his own set that day, joined Riot on both nights. Hall announced on 28 April 2026 that he was stepping down after thirteen years and three studio albums; the band named Francavilla his stand-in for the 2026 dates, and the label call this Hall's last release. It follows the 2019 live album Live in Japan 2018 and the 2024 studio album Mean Streets. A Japanese booklet is enclosed. Ward also issue the concerts on Blu-ray and on two DVDs, each alone and again with the four CDs as a first-press edition. Thirty-nine songs.
