Fire & Vengeance

Fire & Vengeance is the ninth solo album by Ricky Warwick, issued on 4 September 2026 by Earache Records. Warwick toured with New Model Army in 1987, then formed The Almighty in Glasgow; in 2009 Scott Gorham and Brian Downey asked him to front a touring Thin Lizzy line-up, which became Black Star Riders. It arrives eighteen months after Blood Ties, a March 2025 release that reached number 25 in the UK. Keith Nelson, who co-produced, co-wrote and played on that record, returns, and Warwick says he worked on every song here with him again; Nelson has songwriting credits with Buckcherry, Alice Cooper and Velvet Revolver. Four guests appear: Phil Collen of Def Leppard, Doug Aldrich of Whitesnake and The Dead Daisies, Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke, and Darren Holden of The High Kings. The title track appeared on 27 May, "Seek Zen Destroy", with Collen on guitar and backing vocals, on 16 July, and "Last Chance To Dance", called Thin Lizzy-inspired in the press release, on 19 August. Warwick has framed it as a search for hope and common ground amid chaos. The CD is a single disc, catalogue number MOSH741CD, with colour vinyl and signed editions. Japan takes it as an import.
