Holy Mountain (Helgafjell) is the second album by Ren Marabou and the Berserkers, a viking metal trio from Donegal in the north-west of Ireland. They signed with Split Screen Management soon after forming and with the Florida label United Music Mafia in 2021, released their first full album, Tales Of Rune, on 1 July 2022 and supported Vader and Hate on a Nordic tour that September; a deal with Wormholedeath in November 2023 led to this record. Helgafjell is the holy mountain of the dead in Norse belief, and the album is dedicated to Ren Marabou's father, who died in 2022. Terence McCann of Blackdog Graphic Design designed the sleeve, Kathleen Curran took the photographs, and Marabou himself recorded, mixed and mastered the album at Skåld Studios. The band is Marabou on vocals and guitar, McCann on drums and Michael Casserly on bass — ten tracks, about 43 minutes. It came out on 29 March 2024 and reached Japan on 30 August 2024 as a direct import with Japanese packaging, BITX-1330.
