Ice And Death

Reinforcer's Ice And Death came out on Scarlet Records on 22 August 2025, and Ward Records issued it in Japan on 24 December 2025 (GQCS-91714, with liner notes and translated lyrics). Ward describes it as the second album by the German band, formed in 2015, which signed to Scarlet on the strength of its 2018 debut EP The Wanderer and made its album debut with Prince of the Tribes in 2021. The record takes its name from Ymir, the frost giant of Norse myth, and the import edition's notes present the songs as chapters that pass through plague-struck cities, the Pied Piper of Hamelin and the Black Death in London. Scarlet ties "The Witch Mayor" to Hermann Cothmann, the 17th-century mayor of Lemgo associated with the town's witch trials, during whose rule, the label says, more than 250 people were executed. The videos credit Logan Lexi on vocals, Niclas Stappert and Tobias Schwarzer on guitars, Fabiàn Rodriguez on bass and Lasse Schmiedel on drums; both singles' videos also credit Stappert and Schwarzer with the music, Luca Todorovic with the lyrics and Kai Stahlenberg with mixing and mastering, and the title-track video credits the cover artwork to Hendrik Noack. The title track has a lyric video and "The Witch Mayor" an official video.
