Metanoia
Metanoia was the first Persefone album for Napalm Records, released on 4 February 2022, and Ward Records finally brought it to Japan on 31 January 2025 as GQCS-91554, alongside the EP Lingua Ignota: Part I, with a commentary booklet and translated lyrics.

Metanoia was the first Persefone album for Napalm Records, released on 4 February 2022, and Ward Records finally brought it to Japan on 31 January 2025 as GQCS-91554, alongside the EP Lingua Ignota: Part I, with a commentary booklet and translated lyrics. The band come from Andorra and have been working since 2001, with Truth Inside the Shades in 2004 the first of a run of records that has never dropped in quality; the third, Shin-ken from 2009, took its title from Japanese and came out through a Japanese label. Technical riffing and complicated song structures are what they do, arranged here with a cinematic sweep, and the ten tracks run fifty-seven minutes as a single movement, closing with the three parts of "Anabasis" across a quarter of an hour. Two songs have official videos and a third a lyric video.
