Emberglow is the sixth album by Orpheus Omega, the five-piece Australian melodic death metal band built around Chris Themelco on vocals and lead guitar. Four albums and three EPs precede it, and the band have toured well beyond Australia, supporting Insomnium, Trivium, At the Gates, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Lacuna Coil; in May 2024 they opened the Scar Symmetry tour of Japan. The Gothenburg school of Swedish melodic death metal is audible throughout, and this record pushes further towards melody and drama. It appeared internationally on 24 July 2024; WormHoleDeath Japan issued the Japanese edition on 29 November as BITX-1345, a direct import with Japanese packaging. Ten tracks, with videos for Emberglow, Star Maps and Marionette.
