Orbit Culture's Death Above Life came out on 3 October 2025 through Century Media Records, the band's first album for the label, and Sony Music Labels issued the Japanese CD the same day (SICP-6648) with liner notes, lyrics and translations and a Japan-only bonus song, "Nuclear God", eleven tracks in about 58 minutes.

Orbit Culture's Death Above Life came out on 3 October 2025 through Century Media Records, the band's first album for the label, and Sony Music Labels issued the Japanese CD the same day (SICP-6648) with liner notes, lyrics and translations and a Japan-only bonus song, "Nuclear God", eleven tracks in about 58 minutes. Century Media's channel has videos for "The Tales of War", the title track, "Hydra", which Vicente Cordero directed in a California desert, with no green screen according to the band, Miles Skarin's 3D "Nerve" and "The Storm". In September 2026 it added festival footage set to "Nuclear God", released as a single from a deluxe edition announced for 9 October 2026. The Eksjö quartet, Niklas Karlsson (vocals, guitar), Richard Hansson (guitar), Fredrik Lennartsson (bass) and Christopher Wallerstedt (drums), produced it themselves, the Japanese label says, and Buster Odeholm mixed it; the video credits add his mastering at Odeholm Audio. Karlsson sees the record as a change and a fresh start.
