Omnium Gatherum's May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way, the Finnish melodic death metal band's tenth studio album, came out on 7 November 2025 through Century Media Records, and Sony Music Labels released it in Japan the same day (SICP-6649) with the bonus track "Moongold", ten songs in about 45 minutes. The Japanese label's notes say founder and chief songwriter Markus Vanhala wanted one record that shows every side of the band, and that he hears a 1990s feel in the lyrics while pointing out that they are not autobiographical; they also note that Jens Bogren mixed it and that the band has jokingly called itself "Adult-Oriented Death Metal". Century Media's video credits list the 2025 line-up as Jukka Pelkonen on vocals, Vanhala on guitars and clean vocals, Aapo Koivisto on keyboards, Mikko Kivistö on bass and Atte Pesonen on drums, with lyrics by Pelkonen and music by Vanhala. Jari Heino of Coldstore Productions directed the videos for "The Last Hero" and "My Pain"; both are on Century Media's channel, along with a video for "The Darkest City" and a visualizer for "Walking Ghost Phase".
