Of Sorcery and Darkness is the second album by Nocturna, the Italian gothic and symphonic metal band fronted by two singers, Grace Darkling and Rehn Stillnight. Everyone else in the band performs masked and is known only by a name — Antares on bass, Hedon on guitar, Deimos on drums. Their debut Daughters Of The Night turned out to have been written and produced in full by Federico Mondelli of Frozen Crown and Be The Wolf, and that fact was part of what got the band noticed. This one was made the same way, and it refines what the first record set out rather than departing from it. Scarlet Records released it on 19 April 2024 and Marquee Incorporated put the Japanese edition, MICP-11866, in shops two days earlier, on 17 April, with an orchestral version of "Noctis Avem" added — eleven tracks, about thirty-nine minutes.
