The Underworld Awaits Us All is the tenth album by Nile, the death metal band from South Carolina, and their first in five years. Karl Sanders formed them in 1993; after a few demos they signed to Relapse Records and made their album debut in 1998 with Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka, and the combination of technical writing with a deep interest in ancient Egypt, in the words as much as the music, has kept them apart from their peers ever since. Five albums for Nuclear Blast preceded this one, which is their first for Napalm. The line-up is Sanders, Brian Kingsland on guitar and vocals, George Kollias on drums, Dan Vadim Von on bass and Zach Jeter on guitar and vocals — eleven tracks, about 54 minutes. It came out on 23 August 2024, with Ward Records issuing the Japanese edition, GQCS-91486, the same day.
