Nightblaze is the debut album by Nightblaze, the new band started by the Grillo brothers, Dario and Alex, who were at the centre of the Italian melodic rock band Platens. Dario is a writer who plays a great many instruments himself; he came to notice with Thy Majestie in the early 2000s and has written for and played with a long list of bands, Violet Sun among them, since leaving it. Here the brothers have brought in a bass player and a singer, and the band leads with melodies that take hold on first hearing. The Japanese edition adds an acoustic version of "Daughter". Marquee Inc. released it on 20 March 2024. Eleven tracks, about forty-eight minutes.
