Portraits is the debut album by Night Pleasure Hotel, an Italian melodic hard rock project led by Alex Mari on vocals, Sebastiano Barbirato on guitar and Gianluca Pisana on drums. The writing follows the American melodic rock line of Toto, Styx, Foreigner and Survivor, and the recording brought in guests: Michele Luppi, who has toured with Whitesnake and Mr. Big, Luca Zabbini of Barock Project and Gianluca Tagliavini of PFM among them. Art of Melody Music and the Burning Minds Music Group released it on 31 May 2024, and King Records issued the Japanese edition as a limited pressing, KICP-94073, on 7 August 2024. In place of the international bonus track "Quella Sera", the Japanese CD carries a Japanese-language version of "You And I" and an acoustic "Walking Through The Horizon" — thirteen tracks, about an hour and two minutes.
