Slave Machine is the sixth album from Brazilian thrash band Nervosa and their second with founding guitarist Prika Amaral also singing lead, a role she took on for Jailbreak in 2023. Napalm Records released it on 3 April 2026; Marquee/Avalon's Japanese edition (MICP-12012), with liner notes and translated lyrics, came out two days earlier on 1 April, twelve songs and about 43 minutes in all. Formed in 2010 and no strangers to line-up changes, the band have played festivals such as Wacken and Hellfest; they toured Japan as a four-piece in April 2025, adding a bassist afterwards, and in their fifteenth-anniversary year toured more than ever before, including dates with Testament, Obituary and Destruction. Mythodia Visuals produced the official videos for "Slave Machine", "Ghost Notes" and "Impending Doom", all directed by Dimitris Preve, and a lyric video followed for "You Are Not A Hero".
