Nefarious Mash's In Memory of Your Hopes, first released on 18 November 2022 and reissued by Wormholedeath on 16 February 2024, is the debut album of the one-man black metal project that French contemporary-music composer Eddy Jaber started at the end of 2021; Wormholedeath Japan's CD with Japanese specifications (BITX1415) followed on 29 December 2025, nine tracks in about 50 minutes.

Nefarious Mash's In Memory of Your Hopes, first released on 18 November 2022 and reissued by Wormholedeath on 16 February 2024, is the debut album of the one-man black metal project that French contemporary-music composer Eddy Jaber started at the end of 2021; Wormholedeath Japan's CD with Japanese specifications (BITX1415) followed on 29 December 2025, nine tracks in about 50 minutes. Jaber set out to bridge contemporary music and extreme metal, stacking thick walls of sound on harmonies taken from contemporary music and jazz and breaking them with polyrhythmic turns. R.U.M zine reports that the lyrics, shaped by Nietzsche, describe the traps and poisons that eat away at modern people's greatness, their minds and their bonds with one another, along with the illusions they use to avoid seeing it. Wormholedeath posted an audio-stream video of the opening track, "In Front of the Mirror".
