Way Beyond is the second Mystery Moon album, following the duo's 2024 debut Shine, and it keeps them on the German label Pride & Joy Music: a CD and digital release dated 18 September 2026, which is also the street date of the single-disc import Amazon.co.jp lists. Two of the songs went up on the label's channel as lyric videos ahead of it, Cycles Of Life and Dreamland (Garden Of Eden). Rob Lundgren, the Swedish singer from Mentalist, takes vocals and backing vocals; German multi-instrumentalist Markus Pfeffer, whose other bands include Barnabas Sky, Lazarus Dream and Winterland, covers guitars, bass, guitar synths and synths as well as backing vocals. The guest players are Thomas Rieder on drums and percussion and Timo Becker on keyboards. JK Northrup mastered the ten songs at Alien Productions Music Studio in Sacramento, and the cover art is by the Argentine artist Nicolas Oliveros.
