The Art of Letting Go is the third solo album by Myles Kennedy, the singer of Alter Bridge and the voice of Slash feat. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and his first in three years. He began thinking about solo records in 2009 and released Year of the Tiger, a hard rock album drawing on his own roots, in 2018, followed by The Ides of March in 2021, which put his guitar playing forward. He plays guitar here too, building the songs from riffs as much as from vocal lines, and he toured Japan with Slash's band in 2024. Napalm Records released it internationally on 11 October 2024; Marquee Inc. issued the Japanese edition, MICP-11914, on 9 October. Ten tracks, with official videos for Say What You Will, Miss You When You're Gone and Saving Face, plus a documentary on the making of the album.
