Kiss of Death (20th Anniversary Edition)

A twentieth anniversary edition of Kiss of Death, the eighteenth studio album by Motörhead, first released on 29 August 2006. BMG issue it on 3 July 2026 as a two-disc digipak import, remastered at half speed from the original tapes, with a double LP cut the same way alongside it. The album was cut by the line-up of Lemmy Kilmister on vocals and bass, Phil Campbell on guitar and Mikkey Dee on drums, following Inferno in 2004; Cameron Webb produced, mixed and engineered it, recording ran at Paramount, NRG and Maple studios, and Kevin Bartley mastered it at Capitol Mastering. Mike Inez of Alice in Chains guests on "Under the Gun", and C.C. DeVille of Poison on "God Was Never on Your Side", which also carries backing vocals by Zoli Teglas. Disc two holds twelve songs from their 2007 appearance at the Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands, which the label describe as taken from a previously unreleased radio broadcast; the vinyl edition puts that set on record for the first time. Disc one adds three tracks the LP does not carry. Dave Ling of Classic Rock wrote the new liner notes, which pay tribute to Phil Campbell, who died on 13 March 2026. Twenty-seven tracks.
