Himlabacken Vol. 2 is the fifth album by Moon Safari, the Swedish progressive rock band, and it arrives about ten years after Himlabacken Vol.1 of 2013. Japan met them with their third record, Lover's End, in 2011: it came out half a year behind the European edition and still became a smash and one of that year's long sellers. Clear-toned harmony singing, pop melody and symphonic scale have sat together in their writing from early on, and a decade of work shows in how finely this one is put together. The Japanese edition is an SHM-CD and adds an a cappella version of "Beyond the Blue". Marquee Inc. released it on 6 December 2023 as MICP-30120. Ten tracks, about seventy-one minutes.
