Mezzrow's Embrace The Awakening came out on 14 November 2025 through ROAR, part of Reigning Phoenix Music, and Ward Records released the Japanese edition the same day as a two-disc set (GQCS-91690/1) that pairs the eight new songs with the bonus album Keep It True – Live, 16 tracks in about 78 minutes with a Japanese booklet and translated lyrics.

Mezzrow's Embrace The Awakening came out on 14 November 2025 through ROAR, part of Reigning Phoenix Music, and Ward Records released the Japanese edition the same day as a two-disc set (GQCS-91690/1) that pairs the eight new songs with the bonus album Keep It True – Live, 16 tracks in about 78 minutes with a Japanese booklet and translated lyrics. The Swedish thrash band recorded the demos Frozen Soul and Cross of Tormention in the late 1980s and released Then Came the Killing on Active Records in 1990, came back in 2021 around bassist Conny Welén, once of Hexenhaus, and singer Uffe Pettersson, once of Rosicrucian, and released Summon Thy Demons in 2023. Guitarists Magnus Söderman of Nightrage and Ronnie Björnström and drummer Alvaro "Alvis" Svanerö complete the line-up, and Ward Records says the band produced the album themselves, with Björnström mixing and mastering it. Pettersson, who wrote the lyrics of "Architects Of The Silent War", says the song was inspired by the cyber war going on around the world all the time, mostly without anyone noticing, and that the band wanted an album a little more direct than Summon Thy Demons without straying far from it. "Sleeping Cataclysm" got its music video on release day, after "Architects Of The Silent War" and "In Shadows Deep"; all three are on Reigning Phoenix Music's channel.
