Expedition One is the fourth album by Metalite, the melodic metal band from Sweden, and their first in three years. What they have had since the debut carries on: synthesiser pushed to the front, guitars with an edge, choruses that stay with you. The practice of putting Erica Ohlsson -- their second singer, in the chair since album two -- on the cover is kept here as well. The up-tempo "Blazing Skies" came out first, and AFM Records' own channel followed it with "Aurora", "New Generation" and then "Cyberdome" in the new year. "Take My Hand" and "Hurricane" are added as bonus tracks, exactly as on the international digital edition. Marquee Inc. released the Japanese edition on 17 January 2024. Sixteen tracks, about an hour and seven minutes.
