Metal De Facto, the Helsinki power metal band whose motto is "Make Power Metal Great Again", follow 2024's Land Of The Rising Sun – Part 1 with a sequel that carries its world forward. Its songs include "Sengakuji Temple", "Gojira" and "Suzume no Mure", with Ryoji Shinomoto featured on "Sengakuji Temple" and "Fury and Beauty". Singer Aitor Arrastia fronts a line-up of guitarist Esa Orjatsalo, formerly of Dreamtale, Sami Hinkka of Ensiferum on bass and acoustic guitar, keyboardist Benji Connelly and drummer Atte Marttinen of Kivimetsän Druidi; the band made their debut with Imperium Romanum in 2019. Reaper Entertainment and Ward Records (GQCS-91722, with translated lyrics and Japanese liner notes) both released the ten-track album on 6 March 2026. Lana (Svetlana) Gonch directed the videos for the singles "Across the Milky Way" and "Gojira" and for "My Plastic Escape", which arrived on release day.
