Alienized is the first Mantric Momentum record to be pressed in Japan, and the Norwegian project's first album in about three years — the debut had found an audience through the import market. Krister Harøy of Divided Multitude and Terje Harøy, who has sung with Pyramaze and Memorized Dreams, are at its centre, writing melodic metal that keeps a Nordic sense of melody over a traditional metal frame; Magnus Karlsson of Primal Fear guests on one song. Frontiers Records released it on 14 February 2025 and King Records issued the Japanese CD (KICP-4097) on 26 March with a commentary booklet, translated lyrics and an acoustic version of "Alienized" as a Japanese bonus track, twelve tracks in all.
