The Final Ride documents Lynch Mob on the tour they had announced as their farewell. Alongside songs from across the band's history, George Lynch's set revisits three from his Dokken years, "Lightning Strikes Again", "It's Not Love" and "Paris Is Burning". Frontiers Music Srl previewed the album with an official live video for "Wicked Sensation", released it on 29 May 2026 and added a live video for "It's Not Love" the same day. Lynch, who formed Lynch Mob in 1989, the year Dokken first split up, is joined by Gabriel Colon on vocals, Jaron Gulino on bass and Jimmy D'Anda on drums, and Chuck Alkazian recorded, mixed and mastered the album at Pearl Sound Studios. Marquee Inc.'s Japanese edition came out a week earlier, on 22 May 2026: a CD and DVD set, MIZP-60066, whose twelve-song CD runs about 1 hour 13 minutes and includes "Rain" as audio only.
