Chasing Euphoria is the new album by Lutharo, three years on from the last. The Canadian band formed in 2012 as Incarnadine and took its present name in 2014. What makes them theirs is the way traditional heavy metal, thrash and melodic death metal are melted into one thing, held together by playing that manages speed, force and melody at the same time, with the singer Krista pushing hard at the front of it. A run of singles led to their album debut, Hiraeth, in 2021, and that is what brought Atomic Fire to them. It will reach listeners on the extreme metal side and the power metal side alike. Ward Records issued the Japanese edition on 22 March 2024. Eleven tracks, about forty-eight minutes.
