Luke Morley's Walking On Water came out through Left Hook Records on 1 August 2025, and Rubicon Music's Japanese edition followed on 31 October 2025 (RBNCD-1453) with translated lyrics and liner notes that include an interview with him, eleven songs in about 43 minutes. He wrote and produced everything and plays all but drums and keyboards, handled by Rhys Morgan, whom he calls a young Welsh drummer, and Sam Tanner, while Nick Brine recorded the album with him and mixed it. Official videos for the singles "Walking On Water", "Natural High", "Snakeskin Parachute" and "Breathe" are on his Luke Morley Music channel, Jason Joyce directing "Natural High" and "Breathe". The Thunder guitarist, songwriter and producer follows 2023's Songs From The Blue Room with this third solo album; Rubicon Music traces his return to solo work to the break Thunder took during singer Danny Bowes's illness. Morley told MetalTalk he had two songs when his last tour ended and finished the rest in roughly two months.
