Lucifer V is the fifth album by Lucifer, the band Johanna Sadonis started after The Oath broke up, and the fourth since Nicke Andersson of the Hellacopters and Imperial State Electric joined her in it. They play the vocabulary of 1970s hard rock and doom through a present-day recording, and the nine songs here -- funerals, coffins, the mortuary -- are carried by heavy riffing and melody sung wide open. The films for the advance tracks went up on Nuclear Blast's own channel. The Japanese edition comes with translated lyrics and an essay, and adds two live recordings from a 2022 Stockholm show. Trooper Entertainment released it on 26 January 2024. Eleven tracks, about forty-nine minutes.
