Altering Fates and Destinies is the ninth Loudblast album and the first in four years, following Manifesto from 2020. The French band go back to 1985: the split they shared with Agressor in 1988 is usually called the first French thrash metal record, and Disincarnate from 1991 was cut at Morrisound in Florida, where the death metal of the period was being made. Stephane Buriez, there from the start, still writes and sings; Frederic Leclercq of Kreator, once of DragonForce, plays bass again after the previous album. Thirteen songs and fifty-three minutes, with a Necrophagia cover among them. Listenable Records put it out on 25 October 2024 and Ward Records followed in Japan on 10 January 2025 as GQCS-91548, with a commentary booklet and translated lyrics. One song has an official video and another a lyric video.
